Here are our week 5 goals:

Monday: Life Skill Discovery: Writing Thank you Letters

Tuesday: Aberdeen Beads and Brushes hosts a Weekly Toddler Art lesson for $5.00.  Time to get and create!

Wednesday: Math Fun: Making Rock Candy  page 28 of the book, Kitchen Science Lab for Kids

Thursday: Foaming Slim Page 46 of the Book, Outdoor Science Lab for Kids 

Friday: Sports Day, Family Bike Ride

Monday: Math Magic- Card Tricks from PBS!

Tuesday: Aberdeen Beads and Brushes hosts a Weekly Toddler Art lesson for $5.00.  Time to get and create!

Wednesday: Life-Skill Preparing and Packing for a trip – Our kids will learn why lists are important as they sketch their own and help us pack for the move.Family Trip Packing List

Thursday: Exploring Science  We are headed to a local park with friends hiking and exploring nature with friends.

Friday: Sports Day- Count Down/Count Up

Here are our week 2 goals:

Monday: Math & Money – Building on our life skill discovery last week, we will price and shop for $ store finds with money earned from their chore chart last week learning about tax and estimation.

Tuesday: Life Skill Discovery Beat the Heat and Be a Hero! I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) 2 Minute Home Fire Drill, Create an ICE Card (Learn your phone number, parents names-not just Mom and Dad plus address, Be a Hero Online Games for Kids , Disaster Checklist for Parents ,

Wednesday: Exploring Science–The Weymouth Nature Center and picnic lunch not only has a variety of trails to hike but it has a room designated for kids to explore and discover science with puzzles, games, puppets and a large screen microscope and it’s FREE!!

Thursday: Sports Day Tabata Kids! Why not squeeze a little workout in with our kids!!

Friday: Art Class-  Painting on Ice Beat the Summer Heat with this COOL project!

Week 11 Adventures!

Monday: Cooking with math-This week I’m hosting a Bon Cook online event.  So, I have goal to cook a sweetie daily. My kids love to help me cook so they will be measuring and blending ingredients.

Tuesday: Life Skill Discovery- Building Home Plant Terrariums– We will post pictures and directions once we have made our creations.

Wednesday: Art Class- Edible Paint Projects- I’m creating a new recipe so I’ll post once we try and love!

Thursday: Exploring Science– Last week we found a local place to explore and discover science. The Weymouth Nature Center not only has a variety of trails to hike but it has a room designated for kids to explore and discover science with puzzles, games, puppets and a large screen microscope. We will be headed back there this week.

Friday: Sports Day  7 minute Superhero Workout  My kids are in love with this workout!  Plus, my youngest received a bike for this birthday. The family has enjoyed a family bike ride daily

Week 5 Adventures!

Monday: Art Class. Handprint Art.  From our Collection of Art, Cooking & Life Skills of On my Own Cards, the kids will follow the directions to create Handprint Hedgehogs.

Tuesday: Cooking with Math Time to make healthy cookies!. I’ll let the kids choose from one our sweet tooth picks on this weeks menu.

Wednesday: Sports Day– Since our move, we are on the quest to find a new martial arts school for our oldest and the other two would like to also try.  Today they will all get a workout at the gym.

Thursday: Life Skill Discovery Writing a Letter.  Our oldest decided, after reading the first couple of Harry Potter Books, to write a letter to J.K. Rowling.  So we asked each of our kids to choose their favorite author to write to and we will turn it into a fun life skill project. Check out this week’s posting on which authors were chosen.

Friday: Exploring Science. Exploring Science, we may head up to the local city and try out one the science museums today.

Blues Cafe or Museum!  

With our recent move, and all the crazy that goes with a transition, sticking to our activity schedule was a challenge.  So, we have some catching up to do on our Summer Wish List. This week we are going to try and head to a local museum and head to the Blue Cafe for our family adventures.
